CATS
AniMeals started out collecting food for hungry animals but has managed to make room in the building for a few animals that have been marked for euthanasia. Our goal is to get these animals healthy and find them their forever homes. Meet the crew:
Josephine:
My name is Josephine. I had a home and thought things were good for a while there, that was until my family started packing things into boxes. They loaded the car and I watched them drive away without me. I don’t take up much space, I can’t figure out why they would leave me behind. I was so hungry and felt very sad to be alone. Then a nice lady came to the house and rescued me. She brought me to AniMeals so they could help find me my forever home.
Angel
My name is Angel, but the people at AniMeals call me Moo Kitty. I’m sure you can figure out why, but I don’t mind. Being big boned only means there is more of me to love. My life before AniMeals was a life of solitude, my person didn’t pay me much attention. Life is better here at AniMeals where everyone is much friendlier and I can’t wait for someone to come and take me to my forever home. Come give me a pet, I love being scratched behind the ears.
Ellie
My name is Ellie. I came to AniMeals when my mom and dad decided that my quality of life needed improving. They loved me dearly but the other cats in the family beat me up all the time. When I tried to come into the house they ambushed me at the door, and trying to get something to eat was always scary because I knew someone was just waiting to box my ears. So my mom and dad made a bed for me outside where I lived all by myself. It hurt them to see me all alone all the time, so they brought me to AniMeals. They cried when they left me but I think it’s for the best, because now I have a chance to find a home where I won’t always be afraid. Can I come to live with you?
Tinkerbelle
My name is Tinkerbelle and I just may be the sweetest kitten you ever met. My life started out pretty rough. I lost all my brothers and sister and my mom all in the same week. Then I got sick and had to see the vet. I pulled through and now am a playful healthy kitten. In fact I am famous, just check out my video on the home page of this blog. My fur is as soft as goose down and I’ll purr real loud if you want to pet me. Please come and take me home with you? I’ll be the bestest kitten ever!
Cinder
My name is Cinder, I was found in an apartment complex where some kids rescued me. I have been told over and over how beautiful I am, but I don’t let it go to my head. I just can’t understand why I haven’t been adopted yet, I’m charming AND good looking. The right forever home is out there, I just need someone to come in and meet me. I’m sure they won’t leave without taking me along.
Daisy
My name is Daisy and I am just as pretty as the flower. When I came into AniMeals I was so hungry from being locked in a store room (thats where I was rescued from) and boy did my rescuers bring me to the right place. There is plenty of food here for me to sample. Now that I don’t have to worry about being hungry ever again I would like to find my forever home and a warm lap to sit on.
Henry
I am Henry. I was brought in by a caring lady who took me in from the streets. You would never know I was homeless by the way I take care of my silky black coat and by the way I love to nuzzle right up into the nook of your neck. My rescuer wanted so badly to make hers my forever home but she didn’t have room for me and didn’t want me to get attacked by dogs in her neighborhood. AniMeals was kind enough to make a little room for me, but I don’t get to cuddle as much as I would like. I know there is someone out there who wants to take me to my forever home. If you are out there, come see me at AniMeals, I need some serious cuddle time with my new forever parent.
Little Mike, Sweet Pea, Sylvester and Gray Mama cat all came in together. They are playful and love other cats but are warming up to people. It took them a week to come out of their kennel, but now they love to have their belly’s rubbed and play with the feather wand.

The Magnificent Seven
These adorable seven kittens were being fostered by our staff and now that they are eating solid food and using the litterbox, they are calling AniMeals home…but not for long. Kittens as cute as these will hopefully find their forever home quickly. Come in and give them some love!
Miss Kitty
You’d never guess it by looking at me, but I am the fantastic mother of the magnificent seven. I have been the best mama ever, but my work here is done and I am ready to find a forever home too. I kind of need a break from being a mama and am ready to have a turn of my own to be babied a little. Its hard to get noticed with all my cute kittens getting so much attention, but I am cute too! Won’t you take me to my forever home?
Divine Nine
We have been bottle feeding these nine and although it is nice that they are finally on solid food, there is nothing sweeter than having a baby kitten stare into your eyes as it suckles on a tiny bottle. These nine sure have a place in our hearts, if only we had room to keep them all. They need way more love and attention than we can give them despite our best intentions. We really need to find them their forever homes where they can soak up all the love from their forever family. Can you make room for just one?
Heidi
I am a mature cat, but you’d never guess it by the way I play with the feather wand and share my yummy food with the other cats. I had a great forever home, but my human mama had to move into assisted living. I was so looking forward to growing old together, but now I’m on my own looking for my new forever home. Won’t someone give an old gal like me a second chance? (I’m really not that old) Its hard convincing people how sweet I am when all they see is cute kittens everywhere. But I am just as sweet and cute, come on in to AniMeals and I’ll show you. Mine is the kennel in the back, just don’t get distracted by kittens while making your way back to me!
Fab Five
These kittens were a little older by the time they made it into AniMeals, but they are just as cute as all the rest. Their favorite hobbies include chasing feather wands and tackling each other, naturally.
