Emma, the beautiful black kitten that was one of two special needs kittens, showcased in a previous blog post, that had an upper respiratory infection that caused her eyeballs to rupture, is scheduled for surgery TODAY! Your extremely generous donations have made this possible!! THANK YOU!! This beautiful little girl is having the dead tissue, from what is left of her eyeballs, removed. She has been blind since the infection spread to her eyes, but she is otherwise a typical kitten and still plays. It is important that this dead tissue is removed before any other infection develops. That is why it is SO important to monitor your pets and their illnesses. Emma’s infection could have been prevented with proper medical care. Emma’s story is unfortunate, but we are doing everything we can to give her a happy ending.
Cora’s paperwork is being processed, and we are getting a referral, to get her surgery for her eye that has eyelashes growing on the inside of her eyelid, this week we hope. We can’t thank you enough for your donations that allow us to continue to help these babies and others like them at AniMeals. We will update you as we receive more information. Thank you again for your compassion and for caring about the animals!!!
