Today should be a national holiday…BEVERLY WAS ADOPTED!!  Yes! You read that correctly!  Our longest long-time resident found her forever home with a woman who basically has her home set up as somewhat of a retirement home for kitties.  She wanted to give Beverly a home with a peaceful environment, where our beautiful kitty could live forever.  Beverly’s new mom spoke softly to her as she loaded her into her car to take her to her new home.  She reassured Beverly that her new home would be a place of love and peacefulness and that she will never be on her own again.  Beverly is officially part of a family…her own family.  There are three other kitties, with their own space, and a three-legged nine year-old dog, residing in Beverly’s new home.

UPDATE:  Beverly’s mom called in to report that Beverly met her canine sibling and wasn’t exactly fond of him, but the dog left her alone and just cowered. LOL.  Beverly has her own room to adjust in during this transition.  She has already been cuddly on the lap of her new mother and was found napping on her mom’s bed.  AW!

Patience IS a virtue, and sometimes the saying “good things come to those who wait” couldn’t be more true.  It has never been so true (in my opinion) as it is right here with Beverly’s situation.  Almost three years of living in the shelter, after being abandoned and abused, Beverly has found forever.  This special girl will always have a special place in our hearts.  Please celebrate Beverly’s new life!  Thank you for all of your support and for being a part of Beverly’s life over the years during her time at AniMeals.

We love you, Beverly!

PS – Beverly will be reunited with her frog bed tomorrow when her new mom picks it up from AniMania! 🙂

  1. What a great story to a happy loving forever home, yes great things do happen to those who wait no matter how long it takes, so happy for Beverly and her new found family. Blessings to you all, in your new loving life of love, joy & companionship!! 🙂
